Okay... I tried to post this as a quick-reply to a thread already discussing this knife, but it would not allow me to post. If a mod wants to move this, fine with me. Here goes:
I bought one Tuesday at a local knife shop. The dealer is a friend of mine, and ordered one for me a while back. It cost me $39.00 out the door, but that was a "buddy price". Hey, don't hate me. :)
Anyway, by my ruler it is 1/8th of an inch thick (same thickness as a Kabar/BK&T BK 13 Remora), with the thickness tapering off from the most forward (toward the tip) round hole in the blade.
The cutting edge is three inches long. My only gripe about the knife is that the point or tip is very dull. I'm not sure if it was designed to have a dull tip, or if it just didn't get the TLC it deserved at the factory, but I can literally poke my finger tip pretty hard with the knife's point without puncturing the skin. Regardless, I can fix it with a little work on a diamond stone. The knife is as comfortable in hand as any other skeletonized "slab-o-steel" neck knife I have, actually more comfortable than my Becker Necker. The jimping does not have alot of bite, which is good on a knife that will likely be worn under a shirt, preventing the handle from snagging on clothing. The buyer can make the jimping more aggressive with a little file work, but I'd personally not change it. The six-sided hole in the end of the handle will accept the cheap, no-name bit driver that I already have, or the bits themselves. The chisel tip of the pommel is dull enough to be tough, but thinned down enough to be useful at prying. The last 2/3 of the handle could be cord wrapped, but wrapping all the way up to where the blade starts would make the knife impossible to get into the included sheath. The fold-over Kydex sheath is awesome. Great retention with a good snap in, and all the edges are smoothly rounded off to help prevent the sheath from snagging on clothing. The "Tops Knives" and "Buck Knives" logos are recessed into the Kydex on one side only and have a nice dark OD green color, with the rest of the Kydex being black with a nice subtle texture. The four holes of the sheath are metal-lined and will accept ungutted 550 cord. The sheath has no drain hole near the tip, but it is designed to be carried inverted, so that shouldn't be a problem. A bit over two feet of beaded neck chain was included, but I had to cut off a little so the knife didn't carry too low around my neck. Overall, I am very pleased with this knife and would recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

Thanks!! Your review makes me even more anxious for mine to arrive in the mail.

yes the tip is blunt and wouldnt penetrate well, but the top side of the tip tapers down and would be pretty easy to sharpen. the tip of the tanto also has a nice belly to it (almost drop pointish). i picked this knife up at a gun show for like $35 after chatting up the salesman, and im really glad i did. i think its alot cooler than oter neckers out there.
