Hey guys,

I'm new to this particular forum and first off want to say hi to everyone.

Awhile back at a local antique shop I found some old knives. I found an old Osbourne head knife for leatherwork, and right beside it I saw an old hawkbill. Like a carpet or linoleum knife. Under closer examination I saw a stamp that said "Buck Town Made" stamped perpendicular to the spine. Since I had spent all my money on my dad's birthday gift there, I didn't pick it up. The lady was nice and held both old knives for me though.

I was wondering if this knife had anything to do with the Buck family name and company....

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys

Welcome to the Buck forum! :)
I have to admit that I have never even heard of that particular stamp. There is a Buck Brothers company, even a G. Buck and a Buck Cutlery Co., but none of them are related to Buck Knives Inc. Maybe someone else knows of the Buck Town Made company?

Thanks Joe!

I think I'll pick up the knife anyway. It's really well made, and just neat looking. I may post some pics of it soon. Again, thanks for the welcome, and the info. :)
