Ok, so I bought the red wood Bass Pro Shop Buck Trio (the imported version of the Buck Cadet), and I have to say, what a cool little knife. I had a couple of Buck Cadets, and they had Blade play and rough grinds. This little guy is flawless, same as my imported Buck Canoe. When did imports become so good QC wise? I mean, the springs all line up, there are no gaps, the walk and talk is perfect, and the blades are Buck quality. There has been talk on here about the steel the imports use, whether they are any good or not. Well, in usage, they are just as good as the domestics. Edge retention is great, and they take a razors edge. Plus, I love the red wood. It so cool, better then the regular wood scales. I think these are exclusive to BPS, but they are lookers. For the price (under $20), these guys are definitely a best buy. Tough little knives that can cut like the dickens.
