Buck 'Use and Care of Your Buck Knife' sheet

I have a question that would be of interest to some. Does anyone know the dates that the "Use and Care of Your Buck Knife" sheet was used with the El Cajon address and also the dates the sheet was used with the San Diego address? Or maybe someone knows which Version with which Variations each of the sheet was used. Thought this might be interesting. Thanks.

Good question! I have seen some with a bible quote on the bottom and some without.

An interesting question, I think Cvovillia. I haven't seen any with Bible verses, but in the very early days, I am not surprised. I hope someone will have the answer to help date the sheet or to tie them to Versions and/or Variations. My curiosity is high now.

Every one I've seen, right up to just a few months ago has had the bible verse on them.

I collect Versions 1 through 3 and all mine say either San Diego or El Cajon and I don't see any Bible verse, hmmm. Is that a practice that might have started after Version 3? Still curious about when they moved, maybe I will ask Joe Hauser too. Thanks

This set of Buck Use & Care Instructions came packaged with this Buck 103 that was made in 1972. OH

So the El Cajon address was used for several years including some years before 1972. I wonder now if the San Diego was before or after the El Cajon address. I called the Buck factory but they didn't know and Joe Houser was not in. I will email him, but now I have lost his email address.

I have a 650 from 1994 and there is a Bible verse (John 3:16) at the end of the message from Chuck Buck.

Most of the use and care sheets I have are dated on the bottom right hand corner, the sheet that has a word from the chairman of the board of Buck knives has variations,
