I bought a couple Bucks yesterday for what I believe to be a steal. A Buck 112 Cir. 1974-1980 New w/sheath and no box. Also a Buck 110 1993 Nickel Silver Bolsters NIB blade is etched "Buck Knives Since 1909". I just have a quick question. I only recently started collecting Buck Knives and was wondering what the value of these two may be? Thanks for all your help.

Spy,Welcome.Is the 112 stamped; .112. and the 110; 110/ ? I've not seen that etching.
I have seen Buck knives 100yr. 1903.The value is hard to say w/o seing the condition.DM

Thanks! I love it here. Correct about the stamps. They're both new with, no tarish, no rust spots. Just like they came off the line. Just the 112 is missing the box. My apologies. The etch says "Buck Knives Since 1902"

howdy spydie!
and welcome to our addaction!
the 112 is always worth 25 to 30 in like new and some times bring more some times as low as 20.. fickel collectors
the nickel ".. 1902" most times low is 30 jest knife
with box like new up to 60 easly..again fickel colletors

Depends on the collector.
I would place a MIB two dot 112 and I mean knife is mint, box is mint, sheath is mint at about $70 max. to your door. I've seen em go for more and less...it just depends who has the hots for it. No box involves about a $20 discount from that top amount (or at least for me but then I'm trying to collect my Buck's by in large as NIB).

Ditto Dave's comments on the 110.

The 112 is going to be a user. Did you ever have one of those knifes that is just too nice to let sit on a shelf unused? I'm going to stash the 110. Thanks for all the valuable info. I want to learn more about Buck Knives. When I go out to gunshows I usaully buy a couple collecting knives and a user. I only recently took more of an interest in Buck. What can I watch out for Buck knife wise that won't put a hole in the savings accout?

Congrats on the new knives. There are many Bucks that won't hurt your wallet.
Heck you could spend a long time collecting each variation of just the 110 and 112. The fixed blade knives are a great value too, even the older ones can be had for reasonable prices

Thanks, Amigo. Where can I find out the different varitions? I tried searching. I wanted to find something like a checklist to keep track of what I do and do not have.
