Although I do not have the exact measurements, the rubber handle is quite thick. I would say that the tang of the rubber handled Vanguard is roughly 3/8" by 1/8". The rubber handle is about 3/4" wide at the thinnest spot. This would make the rubber about 1/4" thick, side of tang to side and about 1/2" thick, top of tang to bottom.
