I stopped in a neat knife store in Foley, AL - on my way to the 'Redneck Riviera' (Gulf Shores) for some over-priced (... and imported!) seafood, sunburns, and silliness. There - in all of it's splendor - like last fall - was the 'special' 192 Vanguard run - with CPM154 blades (Grey - like the Bass Pro CPM154 110s.), rosewood handles, brass fg & pommel, and nylon sheath - $70! I couldn't buy another one, although they had several - I was saving for an 895 Raven Legacy. Okay, the truth is out - my wife had to have more 'Made in China' souvenirs... knife purchases were zilch. I did get to fondle a Buck 172 - and a Mcusta 16D... and that 895 Legacy.

Stainz

PS Hey, anyone else ever see that neat 'St. Nick's Knifestore' at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley, AL??

This one Stainz? I think it was very hard to pass on that one for $70 :(

I have that one and it is very very nice, $70 is a deal and a half and hard to pass up. Don't know if could have done it...
