I ran across this on the auction site. What is "Pro-Line"?

Not my picture.

I'm not sure if it's the only time it was used, but the Pro-line Buck knives were a Cabela's exclusive several years ago. I have a couple of them. They had an upgraded steel if I remember correctly.

I should say "I think" they were originally a Cabela's exclusive. I can't swear that my memory is correct. I want to say that I bought the couple I have around 2004 or 2005.

I just went to look and neither of the Buck Pro-line models that I have, have any steel type markings. So I might be wrong about upgraded steel.

So the Pro Line's only upgrade is the lifetime sharpening? Interesting that it was a Cabela's exclusive. Thanks all.

Just to clarify .. that was a cut and paste of wh4f 's post, not my interpretation .
I do have a Pro-Line 110 with a 2001 blade in it.
