Buck Vantage 345 Torx size?

Just got a Vantage that I picked up half price so I couldn't resist.What is the Torx bit sizes for the pivot and clip screws?

t6 fits all the screws on mine. just checked.

note...not sure if buck ever changed sizes when they changed the design as on screwed construction to pinned construction as an example. i have both just didnt dig them all out to check. just checked on a pro version i had handy.

I don't have vantage handy but on a spitfire the clip is t6 for sure and the pivot is t10 pretty sure

you're correct on the spitfires I checked just now.........but the vantage are all t6. pivot and all. just pulled 4 versions out to check.

Thanks to all.That is a pretty small torx for the pivot.Centering and fit and finish were perfect.No play in any direction.

think they did it for simplicity. just guessing though.

When I saw how prevalent torx screws were becoming on Bucks, I picked up this little fella at a parts store to make sure I was covered.

I use a Wiha TORX 10 piece 1/4 drive set.. Also have a few of those Kolbalt screwdriver like TORX.. I feel the Wiha bits are stronger.. JMO!!! John

I got home depot cheapie set and it works fine. also have a wiha set and they are better. I use them for tough ones that are loctited.
