I just got a buck vantage select large today because i wanted at least one knife that was made in the usa and i LOVE IT. But.......while i was driving home from the knife shop i was flicking it open and closed and i realized that the people at buck must have had a brain fart when they polished the flipper (I mean seriously WTF is the point of polishing the flipper? :barf
, i could use the flipper but it just sucks in its factory form. So.....the first thing i do when i get home is to take that flipper to my belt sander with a 40 grit belt and here is what i came up with.
I used a 40 grit belt so the surface would be rough enough to grab on to my finger. So far ive been flipping it and it works soooooo much better than the factory flipper but not quite as well as my crkt m16 or my old kershaw burst. All in all the knife is so much more enjoyable with that little improvement. Thanks for looking.
