Does anyone know if Buck send out pocket clips for thier knives? I lost the clip and screws on my Vantage Force, luckily the knife just fell in my pocket. Anyway, I know Benchmade sends out clips at no charge and Spyderco charges for replacements. I sent an email to Buck but have yet to get a response. Thank you!

Yeah, I think if you just contact customer service, they will get you in touch with Joe Housers dept and you can get new ones. If they just fell off, I wont be surprised if they send em out free. Email seems to take longer, I'd give em a call.

Just got a reply on email... they want me to send it in. It will take 6-8 weeks to get it back  For a clip??? I guess Buck is not like Benchmade in the keep the customer happy department :grumpy:

It may be that they think the screw holes in the back spacer are somewhat stripped and that is what caused you to lose the clip. It might be a good idea to replace the back spacer as well.

Just a thought...

Good point. Hadn't thought about that. 6 weeks seems like a really long tome though.

I think that is their worst case scenario. I sent a 112 in to have the lock fixed and it took about a week and half including the weekends.

I was four wheeling and fell off and landed on my buck 119, and snapped it in half. I sent it into buck and they sent me a brand new one within two weeks. Bucks gets an A in my book.

Update: This morning I had my knife sitting here packaged and ready to send off to Buck. I got an email from Buck saying that they would be sending out a clip for me today! Another two hours and the knife would have been in the mail. Just wanted to update this thread on this.

:) Well now, that is just good fortune. Buck has always taken care of any issue I have had.

It probably won't take that long. I had the blade replaced on my Vantage Force Pro and it only took 4 weeks (a little less actually), and they also replaced the pocket clip that I had lost.
