Buck Vantage Force Pro 847 issue

This is my first post, ill keep this short and sweet. I bought a Buck Vantage Force Pro 847 from amazon in December 2012 and started using it recently. However, it doesn't open with ease or lockup and the blades tip collides with the spacer on the back of the handle. what should i do with this knife?

Send it back in to Buck under a warranty claim.

The Vantage line doesn't open very smoothly, though standards differ between knife owners. As for the lock up when open, I find their liner in the Vantage is only good for about 6 months under work use. If you're just going to make occasional cuts and have it stay in your pocket I'm sure it will be fine though.

Beautiful knives, though they could use some higher quality pivot bearings, and a redesigned liner to be more recessed into the grip and significantly thicker.
