Hey y'all the title pretty much says it, what do you think of this knife, any experience, like or dislike, pro's and cons? I want to hear it all the good the bad and the ugly since it is a possible purchase consideration so let er rip guys. I've seen em for around 90 bucks are they worth and details is what I'm really after.

I had one, it came very sharp from the factory, but the blade was offcenter & the lockup was a bit late, you get that sometimes with these buck vantage knives. it has notches on the flipper & a few on top of the back of the blade. the handles are real cool,a very grippy pattern of black/blue g10.i saw one on ebay right now for about 40.00 which is a pretty good deal if you search it out.i dont think the black coating on the blade was necessary.i like the satin finish better. i also have the g10 s30 polished blade regular pro & a vantage in 420hc,both with early lockup & centered blades, & they are wicked sharp out of the box.

I don't much like the Force line of the Vantage.

Had two Force Avids, neither would flip worth a hoot compared to the others. Thought maybe it was the black coating, took it off around pivot, still sucked. They also had the worst lockup of the 6 or 7 Vantages I had, meaning, engaged all the way over almost to the opposite liner. Since the Force blade shape is just a bit different, I really think there's a slight engineering spec prob with them.

Sent first back, they replaced, no better, sent second back and negotiated a nice hybrid, which I carry: A regular Avid with the Force Avid aluminum scales, which along with the Sandvik steel, was main thing I wanted in the first place.

Love mine... Vantage Pro... s30v steel... great ergonomics. I think it is just right for a EDC that is a phenomenal slicer.
I like flippers, and the nib is a little small for ideal function.

Love mine, great EDC folder.

What he said. I can't find anything not to like. Feels great in hand, flips open smartly, disappears in the pocket with the deep clip, and performs like you want it to.

The only issues I have had with the Vantage series generally are blade centering. One in 4 knives had this issue, but not the Force Pro.

Well, I had trouble with two different Force Avids, finally wound up with a hybrid they combined in service shop for me, a regular Avid with the Force Avid scales, pivot bolt, and clip, which I do carry and like a lot.
