Buck vantage Pro damage pivot screw problem

HI!
Sorry for my bad english!
I have a big problem - I used my buck in salt water environment and want to chek for rust under the scales - so disasamble the knife but damege total the screw on the pivot - big mistake and I totaly sorry -
I'm from Bulgaria so to ship the knife to USA/Buck is too expensive - can I buy another one frome somewhere ?

Why not send Buck an email and see if they would mail you a pivot screw.

also if they send you a new screw you can try to grind a slot (using a Dremel tool) in the old screw for a regular blade screwdriver to remove the old one. It is worth a try and is better than scrapping a great knife.

I made a slot and remove the screw, but is to damage to use it - unfortunately in Bulgaria there is no this type ot screw, so I wrote to Buck, but there is no answer yet
