A close friend gifted this knife to me, while I prefer blades with a more wharncliffish style, this knife is one rugged user of a folder!

Contoured and machined G10 scales
Excellent flipper action
Solid lockup
Hollow ground S30v blade
sharpening choil that has a nice ramp built in so it doesn't hang up on material
when you go to cut, sweet ;)
a clip that if you decide to remove, doesn't leave unsightly holes in your scale material

all in all, one outstanding knife Buck as come out with

Here are some images I took tonight;

and a nice job with the clip too, if taken off, you don't have unsightly holes in your scales!

My thanks to Raj and to Buck for a great folder!

Sweeeeet, I have just added that one to my list. As usual very nice pics.

I think they hit the heat treat spot on as well, of course Paul Bos
but just a quick touchup on my stones and she's flingin' hair like no ones business! :)

Congratulations upon whomever designed the 347/6/5 Vantage! What a first-class tool we have at our disposal and such a bargain in any steel! Perhaps with all the clamouring, we can get some options from the next run of knives? Would suggesting BG-42 and white G-10 be totally out of line?
I am happy just the way they are offered by the way.

It's a great knife, especially the blade. The hollow grind makes it an amazing cutter and the steel is S30V done right. I was trying to get the edge to chip by banging on hard wood, instead the locking system got messed up and I got some blade play. The blade itself was still in perfect condition though.

It's a bit heavy for a 3.2" inch blade. I'm going to skeletonize the steel frame when I take it apart to fix the blade play. Going to use slick teflon bushings, add thumb studs and texture the scales as well.

cotdt, that's a bit of work you've lined up for yourself!
maybe you can get some in process shots of how you are doing it?

and Dave, BG-42 is good stuff too, whte G10 might be tough to keep...white? :)

and imafritz, yah it's about the sharpest knife I've on me right now!

I have the Avid and love it!

Lot of great knife for $30. I choose that one since I liked the wood handle over the G10 in this case. My blade has held up great and I'm really enjoying it for EDC!

Buck hit a home run on this one in my mind.
