Buck Vantage replacement scales

I've seen several threads dating back to 2010 asking about custom replacement scales for the Buck Vantage series. So far I haven't seen that any exist. Does anyone have any info regarding this?

There have been a few custom knife folks who have replaced scales with something special. Usually, if a scale is damaged and Buck won't fix it, its not cost effective and you are better off just buying a new knife. I have tried putting some jigged bone scales on one and it is tricky. Not as easy as putting new scales on a regular folder. You might try inquiry to Triple R Knives to see if they could recommended someone. I will state from experience and say you will easily double and likely triple the cost of the factory knife in having it done.
