It looks like they added/removed/modified some of the items on the Web Specials page a little bit ago. Some of the existing items they dropped the prices on. The Brahma 117 was added at a great price. Also they added the 302 Solitaire at a discounted price.

Update:
They just added a 292 Impulse knife and the Large Vantage knife with Black Oxide Coated 420HC blade and Rosewood DymaLux With Pewter Medallion handle at discount prices.

2 of the vantages ain't a good deal. the intrepid xl is a great deal. if one likes this type of knife. I expect most here dont.

Correct. The first two are regular prices, the last one (0346RWS1), is the discounted Vantage knife.
 
When you click on the Intrepid XL it won't go to it..I have a 653 and like it .
 
Buck sent out an email this morning advertising the Web Specials at up 60% off. Lots of items have sold out today. They did just add the 'Elk Antler Marshmallow Roasting Stick (2pk)' to the Web Specials.
 
I think there was 33 items on the buck sale page this morning and now there is 23....

I noticed the price difference between the black blade and the other vantage. One has Dymalux as you noted, the other Dymondwood. They look pretty similar to my eye. For a nice user I'd pop for the black bladed model. Can't recall all the different Vantage models I've got, most are still NIB but I might grab one of these with the black oxide as I don't believe I've got one like it.
 
I got an email about it, but when I followed the link they all said unavailable or words to that effect. Just as well, I’ve spent too much on knives lately anyhow.
 
Appreciate the heads up last night. Many great deals. I could have gone really crazy. But only went half crazy.
 
Who else got a note about the Impulse being sold out? For those that didn't, FYI... they offered the option of purchasing the 292 Impulse in it's place. I thought that was great offer instead of just cancelling the order.

IMO... Buck makes the best of a bad situation with their offer vs just cancelling them and saying "Sorry Charlie"! (How many remember the origin of that quote?)


The fella I spoke with at Buck was impressed that I was able to get onto the sale prior to them all being sold out. Thanks Tecate for the heads up!

I received the notice about the 292 Impulse as well. The 290 Rush will work in its place. Nice because I ordered 3 as Christmas presents. I remember Sorry Charlie. Charlie the Tuna the cartoon tuna for the StarKist brand. :D
