Hello to all reading this, I'm new to this forum and have a question about a buck knife. Its vintage buck 102 knife (50's60"s) with an antler handle. My question is,, did buck ever put antler on the 102's or is this aftermarket.

Yes they did.

I recall seeing some stag handles on the classic series sheath knives like the Woodsman, Pathfinder, Special, and General. Back then you could also get brass guards and pommels. Thjey dropped the stag by the 70's, and now the only special editions are with cocobolo and brass.

Thats not to say yours has not been rehandled by some else. Can you post a pic?
