Buck Woodsman? 102?

Hello all, new member with my first post. I picked up this buck in an online auction lot. Its actually my first so i dont know much about them. The sheath says 102 on the back, but the knofe itself doesnt have a model number. Ive done a little internet searching and think its an old woodsman 102. Can anyone give me more details? Age? Value? Thanks in advance.

Yep, 102 made between in/around 1967 and 1972, they added the model # in/around 1972. 440C steel and yours looks to be in great condition. Can't discuss value unless your a gold member or higher, sorry. You can search the sold listings on 'the bay' and get a fair idea of what they are selling for at that age and condition, Nice knife, congrats.
 
My guess is approximately 1969. The hard fiber spacers make it no later than 1969, and the "BUCK/USA" stamp makes it no earlier than 1968. However, the sheath is not a 1968 sheath, so I am going with probably early 1969.
 
Thank you for the responses. Great info. Especially the date. I was thinking about flipping it, but i might just start carrying it.
