I am interested in buying this beautiful knife, but I have a silly question so please bear with me: are the bolsters made of stainless steel, does bolsters contain amounts of lead? Thanks!

The pommel and finger guard on the standard Buck 102 with black phenolic resin handles are made from aluminum. No lead.

I wish I could find a used 103 skinner for less than a new one. I hate buying new and hate paying new for used.

Yep, no lead.
Just aluminum, micarta, and phenolic resin ( pool balls are made from phenolic, it's tough stuff )

I don't own the 102 woodsmen but do a 119 and it's awesome I don't think you'd be disappointed by any American made traditional Buck knife.
The steel is great and so is the Buck company.

The 102 Woodsman was my first sheath knife. A bit over 50 years ago, I think. Around 1967. It's in better shape than I am, though the sheath and my face have about the same amount of wrinkles. I think my brother got a 105 Pathfinder at the same time.

Yup. Love my 102's. Have a black phenolic resin model and a stacked leather model; an SFO for someone if I recall correctly. Great knives.
