Hello all,

I really like the Buck X-Tract family. I am curious about something, namely product numbers. The first three X-Tracts were 730, 731 & 732 - the latest one is 735. What happened to 733 and 734? What are these and can we hope to see them?

Thanks - Joe

Hello Joe,
I did not see any 733 or 734 in the works. Sometimes we do that, skip numbers.
Hope this helps.

Anyone else have a problem with a "sticky" rubber on your 732; mine is from 2008 still in the box; I did email warranty at Buck with this question today also???

I've had issues with the rubber coating on a Browning BPS Duratouch shotgun and Leica on a rangefinder - both top quality brands like Buck Knife. I will no longer buy any product that has a thin rubber coating or a knife with rubber handles. OH

Rubber and some soft synthetic types of rubber like materials can be reactive to some chemicals and substance and can soften or melt it and others can dry it out and it cracks or crumbles over time. I don’t mind rubber on some items but I’d rather have a textured micarta or stabilized wood or a type of material that isn’t as reactive.
