Just wondering if anybody has purchased one of them, and what their thoughts are. Been considering the purchase, a bit expensive, but I love how thin they are and I've always had excellent luck with Buck knives.I love my 110 drop point, but looking for something that's not a pocket brick.

Buck's web site says sold out, maybe a retailer has one in stock.

I often carry the 110 Slim Pro. I like it's light weight, ease in the pocket carry, S30V and the price. Not titanium or S45VN but it is slim, light weight and works for me. YYMV

I got one because I thought it would be good to collect. But to be honest, I don't think it would be a heavy user, but just because of the expense. It is crazy light and has a premium steel. But I think the other TRXs are a better buy. If you did get it and use it, my guess is that it would last a very long time.

To use a analogy from muscle cars it's kinda like the difference between the Hemi, 440 six pack, and the regular 440..Sometimes just a little difference in performance costs a LOT more. I like the Sport in the 112 and a S35VN Slim Pro Plus was the sharpest knife of any kind I have ever had out of the box and lasted for weeks of use. I would pony up for a 112 version mainly because I collect them but a 110 in Magancut really made me a believer in super steels.

Another option is the G10 TRXs. I went with bright orange. If I look at it in the sunlight it makes me squint and I can pretend it’s the Titanium version 😁

on another note and I hope Buck is listening the slim pro plus has the BEST thumb stud for use, size and location of all the 110s . Just my opinion :):thumbsup:

You still have good hand room to your pocket with this slim knife and the thumb stud location allows much better use of the blade length ;)
Come on Buck the change would be welcomed at least by me 😍

they all were that way in the early days and then folks started complaining it was too hard to open and they moved it. think we talked about that back after the slims came out and they changed the thumbstud location for easier leverage.....

I prefer the thumbstud out of the blade cutting path too.

I don’t have the titanium model but I’ve had the 110 slim pro with micarta handle and s30v blade. It’s light and hardly noticed it in my pocket but plenty tough for rugged work. I gave it to my son as I like a thicker handle because I have arthritis in my hands and using a slim handle for extended period of time my hand starts to cramp up. If you don’t mind the thin handle they are a great edc knife.
