This is the first time that I used Buckeye Burl on a knife, and I was well pleased with the results. This is an "Every Day Carry" slipjoint pattern that I Make. -chris

Really an awesome looking folder. Something I could see myself carrying on an everyday basis. Great work. We need more details though. Blade steel, overall size, etc...

The very best. I really like it. Really, really like it.

That blade finish is the Cat's PJs!

Thanks guys!

I got the burl from "Wood Stabilizing Specialists". I called them on the phone and told them what I was looking for and the picked me out a great piece. The prices were the best that I had found, and the quality of the wood very high. I will be using them again! Their website is: http://www.stabilizedwood.com/

Here is a little info about the knife:
Full Length : 3 Inches Closed
Blade Length : 2 3/8
Blade Material : O-1 Tool Steel
Handle Material : California Buckeye Burl
Bolsters/Guard : Nickel Silver
Completion Date : 4/8/2004

Thanks -chris
