Buckles, anyone?

I have a fondness for fancy buckles for decades. I know it is one of those either-you-love-it-or-you-don't thing. For me, at least, it has been an on-going love affair since I was young.

Whenever, I get the chance I will zero in on the stall or the shop that sells those fancy buckles. I really don't know why I love these buckles. I suppose it perks up me to walk around with this oval-shaped buckle.

Shades of being a city cowboy. I suppose being a cowboy at heart is not a bad thing.

Still hunting and searching for buckles after all these years. My wife's not complaining. And that's important.

Once I get home, I'll see if I can find some scans of a couple of my grandfather's buckles!

BTW, anyone know where I can find a buckle belt?
 
man i always wear a fancy buckle don't feel dressed without one-lol have quite a few in my collection
 
Its only 4.5" x 3.25" in size. The pic makes it look like a dinner plate.
