I want to know which is better for outdoor tasks or camping. Bushcraft too. If you have either, please comment. If you just have a strong opinion, comment as every little bit helps. Thanks

I think the handles on the Dozier are too flexible, and mine even has a bit of blade wobble. They aren't bad knives, I just find them over-rated and over-recommended.
So between those two, I'd take the Buck, especially if I could check it in person first.

But I'd prefer the AG Russell Featherlite over either of those due to the known quality, steel choices, and mechanism design. It does cost a bit more though.
I might even prefer the Gerber Gator with 154-CM steel. I'm a big fan of the round 'grippy' handles.

For an all-purpose outdoor knife, have you considered a fixed blade?

These are folding knives with plastic handles. You would have to use them wisely in the outdoors as they are not the strongest.

Between the 2, the better folding bushcraft knife is the Opinel #9. Light, flattish convex blade handle wood well, very tough.

I really dislike hollow ground knives for woods use. For more modern. Folders, look at the ESEE Zancudo or Ontario Rat2

It might help if you expand on this a bit. Some people like to use knives for splitting wood because they're winter camping in deep snow. Other people want an outdoor knife that'll cut open and skin a moose. Other people want military-style weaponry for hiking and camping.

Personally, I've lived and worked outdoors for years and never need a knife for any task tougher than cutting a fly guyline or opening a food pack. ;)
