I am trying to find out the closed length of a medium BuckLite. The Buck website says 4 3/4, but KnifeCenter and KnifeWorks, both reputable dealers, as well as just about every other source, list it as 4 3/8. Does anyone have any idea which is the correct figure?

As, I just measured an early one of my wife's and it measured 4 7/8" closed but thats the larger one 426 . The med. one ? Are you meaning the 422 ? It measured 4 1/4" a 1990 model . Hope this helps . DM
