Gang- This will probably never happen but I'd buy a few Bucklite Tanto Folders.
Anyone else?

I personally am not into tanto style blades. They just dont work for my applications of a knife.

Many knife models from other makers have the tanto option....and I'm sure there is a reason ($$$). I'm in for one. Tanto blades can be fun outside the realm of practicality.

Thanks guys!
At one point, a folder for me HAD to be a chisel ground tanto blade and come with a pocket clip. My first 422, thank you Duane, ended all that nonsense. Really!
A Bucklite Tanto Folder would be cool though.

I do have a 653 Nighthawk I like...Were there some Striders with a tanto??

The 653 is a nice knife.
Yes, Strider offer a Tanto folder. I have two.

Lycosa, I don't care for the tanto blade... But if they made a Bucklite with a tanto blade, I would buy one for my collection... ITE ... :D

That works. ^
Most Japanese tantos did not have that steep point. The curved point would be more like it.

Tanto blades can be very handy while doing woodwork, they excel in cleaning up corners and channels...

The issue with Tantos is they are viewed by law enforcement as weapons and therefore can get you into some trouble. In NYS, a knife falls under the "weapon by design" definition when they have a dagger or tanto blade. I also find them not as useful for everyday cutting duty....
