Hey Buck fans...would you be so kind and give me your likes and dislikes concerning:
Bucklite 422 and Buck 112 Ecolite.

Thanks!

Man!! Posted in the wrong place. Would someone please move for me?

I like em both just fine. The ecolite is a stronger structure because it has liners, though it is modified.

I edc a 110 eco in the warmer months.

None of the bucklites have ever had liners.

I like the 440 series bucklite best of the bucklites.

I've got a few 422 Bucklites, 80's era...and they are solid, dependable knives.

Thanks for the info. I may grab one of each and put them to work!

I think the 442 is the prettiest shaped blade that I've seen on a Buck. Really love it.

But, I think the Ecolite frame is a lot prettier than the old 442.

Wouldn't it be neat if Buck combined the best of both? Something like this?

They already did that. It was called the Cabela's Ibex. Not the exact blade, but very, very close

If you like 80's/90's nostalgia, go with the Bucklite, the Ecolites do weigh a bit more, however are stronger and of a similar weight, still even at that it's just cool to have a Bucklite or two given the price and styling, a real blast from the past.
