I have those two Buck knives, that I bought for about 6 yers ago. The bolsters are made of nickel silver and they are featuring wooden handles and ornated steel liners. Are those two knives collectible? Or should I just use them? I´ve never touched them, they are just "resting" in my cupboard.

The 531 on Ebay goes for about $100 mark. The 532 a bit less now that Buck has released the model for this year. The Buck 531 is certainly a collectible since they are hard to find.

More importantly the 1991 series (531, 532, 535) as a set is probably the most collectible in a 500 series and I recently sold mine since I like using knives and I was afraid to use them.

My advice; Get a new 2000 532 and use that and start hunting for the dual blade 535 and then you will have a neat set that only a few folks have. Of course a knife is nowhere as much fun if you don't use it......
