Good luck.
I have a brand new buckmaster with older used sheath and need new sheath, compass with pouch to sell mine as new set.

Tattoo,

You may be in luck. I believe Buck knives may still have a few of the anchor spikes. You may be able to buy them directly from Buck.

They don't. I was referred to this site or ebay as I too have lost my spikes and looking for a set

There are some parts in the Buck knives for sale.
Thank you, i have looked but had no luck. On ebay i found a set but they want 115.00. So, they can keep them. I'll borrow a friend's mill and make a custom set that make me happy rather than pay a ridiculous price. Had they been reasonable ( imo ), like the 50 buck range i would not have hesitated. Anyway, thank you!

I think I'm going turn out a set to see what it actually takes, 303 turns pretty easily but I believe it can be a bitch to knurl. Can't remember if I've ever tried knurling stainless. What really kills me is $50 to $75 for a nylon pouch...

Yeah i saw that as well. Nylon pouches, seriously ? I guess for a purist looking to make his 184 perfect, but still. Please keep me posted on the pin project, I'm thinking the threads and shape will be easy enough but like you, the knurling would be a pain in the ass. Possibly horizontal rings cut on .125 spacing ....

As far as the nylon pouches. I have seen many recently without "BUCK" being stitched on the front and all I have ever seen with the knives in the past have the word "BUCK" on them.
I contacted Rich Neyman awhile back and asked him about them and he stated that all the Buckmaster pouches had Buck stitched on the front and he was not aware of any originals
that didn't. The ones without Buck on them could be leftovers that were never finished I guess but Rich was not aware of any.

SO TO CLEAR THIS UP. In the very BEGINNING there ARE A FEW NYLON prototype POUCH's WITHOUT "BUCK" on them. Harry Camphuysen of PHROBIS I had ALL the original pouches for the SEAL's made and found the supplier for BUCK and PHROBIS.... BUCK Knives sold the "BUCK" marked black pouches for MANY MANY years years.. HOWEVER when the BuckMaster was slowing down BUCK did order "NON BUCK" marked BLACK large and small pouches the last few years to save cost on stitching the word 'BUCK". Joe Houser has confirmed this with me a few years back.. So I WAS wrong Gedlicks that ONLY official BuckMaster Pouches had only BUCK. WITH this said I see a few made for BUCK but not BUCK stitched recently on various auctions and I know the unmarked pouches sold from some members that frequent here in the BUCK forum ARE REAL unmarked but BUCK ones.. Any questions if your pouch is a knock off please email me and I will personally try to help you... Thanks Rich

Guys. The buckmaster is way more expensive now than it was when it was released. Those pouches either with Buck stitched or not are factory parts. They haven't made them in years. Same with the spikes. That means they are going to be more expensive. No different than say 1966 for mustang parts. Imagine what factory parts would run today. Ever make an offer to find out what the price would be? Instead of just bitching about it?

OEM parts. For the collector means everything.

Thanks Rich for clearing that up. I forgot to mention that there were some prototypes without Buck on them. I was mainly thinking about the production pouches.
