Does anyone know where I can get a nice Buckmaster 184 at? {a decent price} And can anyone tell me if its a nice knife or a piece of junk???

I own a few of them. I use one on longer backpacking/canoe trips. The saw on the back doesn't work the greatest but it is a very sturdy knife. I have back-up survival items in the hollow handle with the handle wrapped with paracord. The factory sheath is bulky but okay if attached to a backpack - I had a custom Kydex sheat made that allows the knife to ride high on my belt and Love It. Hope this helps.

Bladeforums member not2sharp has a couple for sale. I have one and think it's a fun knife. Good luck

Maybe will can get Buck to bring this wonderful knife back into production, a modern version.

I have a sentimental attachment to the Buckmaster. It was one of those knives that started me down the road of blades.

Those were the days when the bigger and meaner the knife, the better. At least, that was how it was for me. :D :)
