Bucks and other Knives at Cabela's

That AG-fillet knife looks nice, but I wonder about the flexability of S30V.
Plus it makes no sense to coat a fillet knife.

:confused::):confused:

I get those e-mails and I never see any Bucks-just had one today and only a few of those knives buck or otherwise were on it-I must be doing something wrong.:grumpy:

What doesnt make sense about coating a fillet?? :confused:

I thought it would be a good idea, but why isnt it? No rust.... smoother cutting?

Just curious!

It shouldn't rust if it's properly cared for anyway. I can't judge because I've never used an AG fillet knife. But would the coat interfere with the flexing and would it chip off after long use and flexing? ? Maybe I now need to get one to make my own appraisal.

I ain't paying $99 for no freaking fillet knife......S30V, BG42 or gold-plated.....ain't no way.

I sharpen knives while watching T.V. and touching up fillet knives is easy.

:)

BIG item right there highlighted in red :D

It is not a "coating" it is alot like the ionfusion knives. "fused" to the blade, not coated. I doubt it would flex off.

I bet guys would pay $100.00 for a 110, S30V, BG42 or gold-plated..... different strokes for different folks I guess. Me I almost bought one when they first came out, but work needs to pick up ALOT!!!!!!!!!! ;)
