I have a 532 and a prince. I like both of these very well. What are some favorites among forumites?

Thanks,
Clay

Both of those you listed are fine, but nothing compares with a standard 110 upgraded to BG-42.

Gronk that would only be your opinion!!
Take a standard 2000 model 532 Bucklock and there is no need for an upgrade!! It comes FROM THE FACTORY with a BG-42 blade. Oh, and the 1998 Master Series knife did also!! I can have any knife I want "made", but a few have come from the factory that don't need the so called "upgrades". Peace,

OK then, a Master Series 110! ;) Or a 110MS over run, or a PCKS 110 with BG-42 blade. Don't have to get one reworked to have the very best folding lock-back with BG-42 steel.

Did I mention that the 110 is my personal favorite? :D

I had a PCKS 110 which was beautiful, just too large for EDC.
Just received my 112 with BG-42 blade from Joe Houser as a special order. Wonderful little knife (little compared to the 110). It's an absolute gem and I have no fear using it for anything.

Boy! Will this thread bring out the personal favorites:eek:

My Buck Fave's are , in this order, ..........

1.) Buck 307 Stockman (yea, I know not a lockback)
2.) Buck 112 (soon to be w/ bg-42 blade)
3.) Buck 110 finger groove w/ 440c blade
4.) Buck 110 fingergoove w/ bg-42 blade.
5.) Buck Nighthawk in 6 1/2" and rare 5" blade ( yea , I know not a lockblade)

One point I hope Buck picks up on is that it's their "Old " line lockbacks
that have such a hard core following along with the non-tatical Buck's
i.e. Nighhawk and stockmen.

If ya want's a good dependable knife it's a Buck lockback:D :D

Yep, an opinion is exactly what it is. My 532 is a mite small for serious work, my PCKS stag is too purdy to use. The re-bladed 110 has just the right combination of good old solid hunk o' steel and modern blade material.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the titanium 560 with a BG-42 blade. Okay, so its an upgrade, its still a great user.

110 bar-none! Work-a-holic, everyday knife as well as kitchen knife. I've been in construction for over thirty years and my 110 has been serving me well for over half those years......just this past week while dismantling the Old(Murphy) Windmill in Golden Gate Park some old rope got entangled in the windmills driveshaft while it was being lowered to a container for shipment to the Netherlands for repair. The head Engineer Lucas was having problems getting the rope off with his knife so I lent him my 110 and it cut through the old rope like butter. Lucas was impressed and wanted to know what kind of knife it was......
Just one more story to add to the 110's legend......;)
