OK, here are some pics of the 106s, I got from the good old swap meet 3 weeks ago... I got a Black handle 106 2 liner that's going to Leroy's for a little clean up job and a 106 blank 2 liner that's either going to Leroy's for some nice handles or in my Collection as is... I collect Blades too... Thanks for looking, will post more pics next week... The best are still to come.... ITE

Armand,

You gonna have to rent a storage facility to keep all these Buck knives your collecting. You gotta do some big layout photo shoots some time and shows us.

ITE,
I sure miss the swap meets down there! I even miss Leroy a little, but my aim is getting better so he better watch out!
That is a cool 106 blank, could I bother you to measure how thick it is? I'm curious and it could possibly add some useful info to the 106 data sheet.
Thanks,

Thanks Joe, the swap meets down here in San Diego have been good to me... :) ... Here's some new pics of it for you... It looks to be 3/16 of a inch thick all the way down... Have look... ITE

Thanks for the pics and measurement ITE. I am guessing that if it is 3/16th, that blank was going to end up being the thinner version since we always blank parts oversized and grind them to thickness.
That would mean it was going to be one of the 3 micarta handled axes with 2 line stampings....except it couldnt be the first micarta version because it had a hidden tang. Interesting find! :)
