The Buck 075 Hood Boot Knife. Well this one will not be going into production from what I understand. Only 400 were made and given to Buck employees as Christmas Gifts. The knife is 6 1/4" overall with a 3" blade. It has a black finish on the blade, with 5160 steel steel type. Blade is marked Buck (anvil) USA with 075 the date code is 2015. A micarta handle with red liners, with screw and barrel construction Kydex/ nylon sheath. The Kydex is removable from the nylon, and has a zipper pouch in the back..
The belt loop on the sheath has a snap so it can be snapped onto a belt with out removing the belt. It also has a length of para cord, It gives the knife a lot of carry options.
This is a good small knife I think it could be handy, it reminds me of a large Hartsook.

I had heard another Buck/Hood might be showing up. Too bad it's not going into production.
Looks like it could be a handy little (and tough) knife.

Thanks for posting the pictures!!

Sold last night for $100 with only 1 bid.... there is another up now for quite a bit more. 400 knives is really quite a few in the scheme of things. There will be many more offerings down the road.

I was going to bid on it, but decided not too. Not sure if I really like it, or would use it.

Looks like a good design. Why would they not produce it? They have all the tooling done, so the money's spent. If I worked there I would not sell.

The Kaala is s30v and about the same size less a Micarta handle. It is a carry fixed blade for me.

This really looks like a great little fixed blade. I don't understand why they wouldn't put it into production. I would buy.

A 3" blade & 3 1/4" handle. It looks to be a 3 finger handle.? DM

Yes I would call it a 3 finger handle. With the handle shape I would call it decent grip for a knife this size.

That looks to be a great little everyday knife & I would buy one if it ever came to production.

That knife looks amazing. I'd definatly get one. It would probably unseat my BK11. And I love my BK11.
