Hi All,

Last night I was watching all the old shows I had taped on TiVo. I saw a Buck 110 on Criminal Minds....the show where two brothers were kidnapping folks from the interstate and then bow hunting them for sport...One of the victims took a Buck 110 off another victim and turned it on both of the villains....Go 110:thumbup: .

Then on a past Lost.....Ben handed a 124 to Bald John and wanted him to kill his father with it.

Both of these shows did nice close ups on the blades. My wife said I have problems......"Only you would know those were Buck knives"....."You need to get a life". With a smile on my face I said..."Hay... I have knives just like those!!!". She said...."I bet you will tell this to your Buck buddies".....Yep!!!!

thats right and we do want to know!
buck buddys are like that
good observation on her part!

I think the best portrayal of a Buck 110 or any knife for that matter in a movie was in the flick "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins and Aleck Baldwin. In a way, they used it to kill a bear, spear fish, build a shelter etc.!!!

It wasn't a Buck 110 in "The Edge", it was a custom by Canadian Knifemaker Bryan Lyttle.

Great flick though!

Don’t forget the close up of the BUCK box in the movie Red Dawn when they were at the store stocking up to head for the backcountry.

Hey Jeff... Thanks for the info.:)

Jeff

No problem, it was that Bryan Lyttle knife that led me to collect Buck 110's!

I wanted one like the knife in the movie, but couldn't afford a real Bryan Lyttle, so I got my very first 110 with ELK scales from the custom shop....a bunch of 110's later I'm an addict! :D

Sorry, a custom 110 look-a-like. I've seen the movie so many times and never realized it was a damascus blade. Even so, many people like myself can mistake it for a 110.

I think they just showed a Buck 105 in a scene of CSI miami.

I saw a 119 in one of the CSI's. The dead guy used it to kill himself. He stuck the handle of it in the door jamb of a sliding door, then backed into the blade 3 times. That aparantly did not make him dead enough so he turned around and did one final jab to his chest.
They showed a close up of the knife but the stamp had been ground off.
