I love my 425 and my 283, and with the new 524 alumni coming out soon it got me thinking about how many small lockbacks Buck has produced with this same pattern of blade.

Off the top of my head I know of the 425, 525, 505, 283, and new 524 but I'm sure there are more models using essentially the same drop point blade. There are some very minor differences such as nick placement, but they're all practically the same.

How many models do you know of that use what is essentially this same 1.78" drop point blade ?

A few others that come to mind:

506 Lady Knight/White Knight - micarta scales
507 Ultimate I - Mother of Pearl scales
515 Classic IV - aluminum scroll handles with mirror polish blade
526 Executive - Gent with mirror blade
527 Treasury - series of 6 different handle materials
529 Buckskin - series of 5 different inlays of skins and hides
825 Statue of Liberty - pewter handle
826 Stature of Liberty - plastic handle

Awesome, thanks for the info.
That 526, and 527 are so cool.

Some of my small Bucks. Old pictures. Some have been added since these were taken.

Awesome.
Never knew they made a Damascus bladed 425.
For some reason Im fascinated by the one with the racoons on it. I don't know why but I find racoons to be cool, even though they have those creepy hands.
Saw a video once of some racoons reaching through a deck to get some cat food and those little zombie like hands really creeped me out.

Btw what are the two funky looking ones ?

With the addition of the new 524 Alumni there are now 12 different model numbers all sharing the same 1 7/8" blade and locking system. 425, 505, 506, 507, 515, 524, 525, 526, 527, 529, 825, 826.

I'm fascinated with raccoons too. Especially if their dead.

I talk like that but I never kill them. I don't care for them, but I'm a live and let live person.

That's kind of what I figured but didn't want to give information on the wrong knife.
Those are 565 tiny titanium knives. They came in 2 variations. Kind of rainbow colored and one that is more blue toned. As you can see both mine are the rainbow colored versions.
Cool little knives.

Cool, not exactly my style but still a very interesting knife I've never seen before.
I wonder why they went with a slipjoint instead of a lockback ?

Besides the new 524 using this small blade, there is also another new one, the 363 Rival.
