Bucks new products

The Compadre would be a lot cooler if it was flat ground, like the new (imported) Selkirk is and like the TOPS survival knives (generally) are.

Speaking of the imported knives, I notice that many of the imported knives are using BOS heat treated 420HC.

How long has that been happening? I've missed that in the past. Has Buck replicated the BOS process off shore?

Does this mean that there may be a cost-effective way to get rid of 420J2 in their imported knives?

I still won't buy a traditional patterned import (imo, the whole point of a traditional is that it is tied to a culture, which means that origin matters) but among the non-traditionals, it would be nice to see that steel go away imo.
