I sent in a few knives a few weeks ago and I really thoughtthat there wasnt much that could be done with these. I sent in a 301 with the BUCK shield that the clip blade was just about gone, Came back with a new blade and polished up like a new penny. I sent in an old 501 micarta with the blade about gone and everything else in real bad shape, came back with a new 501 scroll blade and the mircata as good as as new. I sent in a 110, couldn't tell you how old but it is a thin body with inverted blade stamp and 2 inlay pins w/ brass rocker pin. This knife was in bad shape. It wouldn't lock out, wouldnt stay closed and look as though it had been used as a hammer. it was dull and a real piece of shit. I got it back and it didn't seem as it was the same knife, just beautiful. THANK YOU BUCK KNIVES AND JOE HOUSER

When you titled your post "Buck Maintenance Dept." I thought you were referring to the people who maintain the machines, equipment or the building and grounds, not the repair shop! :D

I have always been pleased with their repair and warranty service.

It's obvious upon receiving your repaired knife, that Buck employees put a great deal of pride into what they do. In many cases they literally take something that would be considered garbage and transform it into something functional & beautiful.

The blade on the 110 has a pit in it but I can't see anything else wrong with it.
the 301 is my fav it is almost as good as new.
the 501s blade is dirty but the knife was a real piece of crap before I sent it back. I paid $1 for it a garage sale. The guy said he even felt bad for charging me that much, CAN YOU SEE ME NOW.

$1 for a 501??? When I go to garage sales all they have are old VHS tapes and cheesy decorations.

This knife really was something you could'tn sell. The blade wouldn't lock out and there wasn't much blade to speak of.It kind of looked like an Ice pick, The micarta was almost unreconizable and the bolsters were so scratched up there was no shine. I should have taken before and afters on these.

Gold from straw. Buck must have Rumple...what's-his-name on the payroll now.

Wowee wow wow. Brilliant knives back from the grave.

Congratulations and thank you kindly for showing them to me. Now, even I , believe there are a few more miles left on my odometer. I'd send myself to Post Falls but the fix-up genies might have heart attacks.

I am sure that the guys and gals at Buck take our old beat up knives as a challenge to see if they can fix it. Of the pictures I have seen and the knife I sent in, show that they truly can do a lot more than we expect.

Haven't you figured it out yet-----IT IS WITCHCRAFT.

Telechronos:):):)

I would say quite the opposite. People like Al & Chuck Buck with a genuine desire to structure thier business on Christ like principles will always go beyond what is expected in order to serve their commuity and customers.

Why? You think the millions of NON-Christians who run corporations don't go beyond what's expected in order to serve their community and customers?

If they didn't, they'd be out of business. You have to take good care of your customers these days.

Why insult non-Christians by implying that Christians are better than others? Christians are humble and don't tend to lord it over others of any faith, be they Witches, Jews, Atheists or Muslims.

Besides, TeleChronos was obviously just joking around. You didn't get the joke?

Lets not start a religous debate, I dont care if the tooth fairy fixed my knives, politics and religion are two subjects every body has there own opinion on and if you ask me they all suck so lets not go there, and that isnt a joke un-like the Witch JOKE

The Basic Buck cleanup service is an incredible bargain.

Keep in mind that it may not be available forever.

It's that good.
