Good afternoon-

Hope that someone can give me some advise. I have a nice Bucktool 360 that has not seen much action lately because one of the handles does not lock into place. Moreover, when I open the tool, the blade and several other tools swing open and do not lock into place. I know that Buck Knives has a lifetime warranty, but is this something that the company would repair for me? It's a great tool that's served me well and I'd hate to have to throw it away.

Thanks.

John

Check the website for the Buck Customer Service number and give them a call. They will give you good pointers in the 'how too's' of sending your Bucktool in for repair. It is worth the call.

Not me, but I know someone who sent one in a while ago. Buck does not have any parts for it, if parts are needed. They replaced his with the present "buck tool". So call first unless you want the new one which imo does not compare to the original.

I just received my 360 back from Buck last week. It had a broken lock. I shipped it back with some 110s that needed a spa treatment. They repaired the lock. I guess Buck had some parts on hand.

A few years ago I purchased a few of the folding kalinga's with S30V blades NIB. I sold a couple and hung onto the rest and didn't even take them out of the box. I removed them from the box shortly after the 1st of this year
and found one to have a few pits at the base of the blade. I called Buck to see if they had replacement blades and all they told me is to send it in which I did. I received a phone call a few weeks later from the person doing
the warranty repairs. I think his name was Randy. He said they did not have blades for them anymore so all he could do is to remove the blade and try to grind/sand them out but the blade finish would not be the same as
original. I received the knife about a week later and it looked great but the finish was a bid different which bothered me much less than the pits. You could not tell unless you held it alongside one with the original finish.
So calling them might not do you any good about if they have parts or not unless you have better luck with your call than I did.
