Buck is a master at 420HC steel. I like my Gerber, Leatherman, and SwissTool. I think Buck would be also a great version. I would buy one:D

Not sure where you are going with this. Are you talking about a BuckTool?

Not current production but not rare and readily available at auction. There were 3 sizes models #350, #355, and #360. They have an interesting pivot design to get around the Leatherman patent as I recall. Admittedly I don't use mine but they impress me as very well made. And importantly for you....made in the USA. They can still be found NOS in some places.

A little trivia, the parts were made here but they were sent to Mexico for assembly.

Haji,
I wanted to answer your Mexico question. We have been contracting with a facility in Tijuana, Mexico to assemble our Tools. We manufacture the parts and prepare "kits". They deliver every week finished goods and pick up another weeks worth of kits. There have been no facilities relocated, and no knife activities of any kind taking place in Mexico.

The facility is about a 45 minute drive from the plant and their assebly quality is good for the tools. This is an ongoing effort to produce the most cost effective tools. That marketplace has gone commoditylike so quickly.

Any other questions on this let me know.

I have one and like it a good bit. Well made. I like the design better than the current Gerber.
