Bucktool??

I was just over at the Buck-site when I noticed that the Bucktool was missing.

Has this fine tool been discontinued?.

And if so why?.

Sorry to say the lack of responses says a lot about the Buck tool.

The BuckTool is winding down. Users had high praise for that tool however the marketplace continued to get very strange. We decided that we needed to take a different tack with tools. We are introducing the Navigator. It is aluminum handled so we can get some color on it. A more standard mechanism for accessing the pliers, still all the key implements of the Bucktool, knife blade accessible with one hand...and the list goes on. We are still trouble shooting the design before introduction but will have some proto's at blade show.

Sorry to hear about BuckTool's demise.

I bought one as my first multi-tool and carried it in my computer bag for hundreds of thousands of miles as a computer consultant. Great traveling tool - still use it over my Wave because it's much lighter to carry around and easier to open.

Still carry it, but when flying now it's goes in the check-in luggage

Looking forward to seeing the new tool, though.
