B bucktool (and everyone else here). I was aware of the BuckTools when they were marketed (1996-2000) but already having a Leatherman and not collecting folding tools I never bought one. My Dad did and a couple years ago he gave me his 350 Mini BuckTool. I just bought a 355 from an AAPK dealer, should ship today. I am aware of the BuckTool 360 (in several variations thanks to B bucktool past posts in the SPS. What I would like to know is how many models did Buck Knives produce. Any variation talk is welcome as well. Picture of my MiniBuck 350 (has a very tight, rubbery green slip). Thanks, OH

Assembled in Mexico with USA parts.
It sticks in my mind that the unique "side fold" was to get around a Leatherman patent.
Anyone else recall that?
I've seen black and camo 360's.
Special runs for NRA, Ducks Unlimited, Yamaha, Harley.
There were some early serialized 355's for BCCI.

I have bought 3 different 730's just because for light use they are compact and oh so handy. I'm still keeping a eye out for the one with the built in light.

The Bucktool and the original Bear & Sons multitool were both introduced in 1996, and the B&S has the standard Leatherman design.
Unless B&S licensed the leatherman patent I'd say that said patent probably had nothing to do with the design Buck came up with.

I keep wanting to check out one of the little ones ( the 350 I think) , but the jaw design is holding me back.
I get an opportunity to snag one off Ebay occasionally, but can just never bring myself to pull the trigger.
If I don't think I'd ever carry and use it then it's hard for me to pull the trigger on one.

Got real fast shipping from the seller and fast delivery from USPS, it was waiting on me yesterday when got home. My new 355 Bucklite Tool, doesn't appear to have ever been used. No Buck Tool pouch came with it, but I have an extra Schrade Old Timer USA nylon pouch that fits fine. Just in time for turkey season and the spring Spanish Mackerel run. OH
