Bud Nealy Cave Bear/Cub - Any Owners Out There?

I have been looking hard at the Bud Nealy Cave Bear Cub, most likely in damacus. I eliminated the other models (except for the PK) due to the lack of any functional guard. I want to hear from someone who owns a Cave Bear and/or the Cub. How secure is the grip ? Can anyone give feedback as to the damascus's performance ? How Secure is the grip? Has anyone compared this model to the Pez Kabz ?) It's been a tough call as I have only seen pictures, have read all the old threads, and have not handled one up close and personal. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
