I havent heard much about Bud's knives. I like to know a bit more and hear some reviews or experience with his peices since he is located right around my area. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time

What exactly would you like to know?

Depending on the pattern chosen, they are great looking knives.

All of the patterns work very well, for their intended useage, and the prices are quite reasonable. Bud has been making knives for a long time, and is well thought of in the industry. His designs have been put into production by Cold Steel, Boker and other companies.

that essentially what i wanted to hear. i have to agree all of his designs look great. I have heard of his name before but i have never heard much regarding his knives. Thanks

I love Bud's knives and have owned quite a few of them over the years. I have had two G10 Amoebas one w/a double edge. I've also had a couple of Kinzhal's and a Pesh Kabz. Fit and finish are perfect IMO. He actually just made me an Amoeba with an desert iron wood handle. It took a couple of months to get but well worth the wait. The new MCS II sheath system is the balls. I have had both the old MCS and MASS systems. The MCS II combines the two worlds. Great concealable blades. Everything is hand made too. Get one...you won't regret it. The Amoeba is my all time fav knife from Bud. It rides so comfortably IWB.

thanks, thats what i wanted to hear. that mcs system sounds kinda mall ninja-ish. i may just have to give one a try for the hell of it.

It isn't. Let's say that you have a CCW for someplace like Florida, so you can carry a fixed blade legally.

Now, you don't want to carry a gun for some reason, but want said fixed blade to have as many carry options as possible for ease of accessability....the MCS system delivers in spades.

It is low profile and effective, Mall Ninjas generally prefer hi viz for the coolness factor.

I probably have 15 of Buds knives. All are excellent low profile knives that are great users. My Personal favorite is his "cave bear" which has been my EDC on my bicycling rig for years.

Those sheaths are far from being mall ninjaish. They're very practical and give you a wide variety of carry options.

His knives are great and very reasonably priced. Very easy to carry with great sheath and carry system and thin profiles. He's also a really nice guy to deal with and provides excellent service if any problems pop up at any time with the knife.

im gona place an order for one of those after the holidays so i have plenty of time to consider which model
