Well, none on eBay except the chinese knives. My son-in-law broke the maxflex 246OT that I had given my wife for the kitchen. Fillet-O-deer? Well, needless to say, they weren't intended to split a deer sternum. Now, does anyone have a spare, even used 146OT Minflex or 246OT Maxflex? If not, I'll either buy a 147OT Pro Fisherman for her and shorten it. Or put one of my 147OT blanks in the broken knife's handle and shorten that. You don't want to see the final grind my old bench grinder does on a knife!

All I have is a 147OT blank and it sounds like you already have that. If you do need it you are welcome to it. Just give me a holler.

Thankyou Paul. But you are correct, I do have the blank. I was just hoping that someone might have a spare trading piece of the smaller fillets. Or know of a retailer with one still in stock. I may yet just have to buy the longer 147OT and shorten it for the kitchen.

I have a 147 and have been looking for a 146, but it seems like another small peice of history is..... well, history.
But, the search goes on...................
 
I saw two today in a display that I bought 4 USA's out of. I'm almost shure there were 2 NIB in there. They have the green handle? Probably won't be able to go back there for two weeks... About 50 miles away.

Gypsy, if they are green 146s, I would be interested in one if you happen to get back to the store. After Codger has a chance that is. I want one... he needs one.
 
I have most of the Safe-T-Grip series in my collection, and only need a replacement for a user. I'll either locate one (a user) or make one. The 147 is tooooo loooong for general kitchen use, but I can shorten the blade on one if I need to. Again, I don't need a new knife. But thank you all for the suggestions. I'd rather a new one go to someone who needs one for their collection. The graphite knives are nice too, but a bit more pricewise than I want to spend on this.
