Buddy List?

I know about the ignore list but was does adding someone to your buddy list do? Is there a feature that sends an you an email alert when a specific member makes a post?

Don't know what it does, I placed a bunch of folks on mine, but nothing has happened, no notices of posts, nor of them being online. I also would like to know what it does. Mine has done nothing and I have had it for over two weeks.
BTW, I placed you on mine. perhaps it has to be two way,

it puts a + sign beside their name i do know that. also there is a list that lets you know what buddies are on line.

http://www.bladeforums.com/ sign in then remove anything after the / or copy the link and paste it. you'll see it then.

if you open the quick links header and bring up the buddy list you can see who is online when their icon is green.
