Budget Busse

Howdy folks !

All you hogs might get a kick out of this, or maybe I'll get some death threats... hope not !
I always wanted to own a Busse but could never afford one. Last year I started making knives, and this was my first design and forth completed knife. It's kind of a mix of my favorites, the Uncle Mofo and the Tank Buster.
Maybe I'll sell a couple of my own someday (my own designs) and be able to buy the real thing !
Seriously though ... I think the whole Busse phenomenon is fantastic, you die hards are a proud wonderful bunch of lunatics !!! ... no offence intended

Nice looking blade mate.

As for being inspired by Jerry's designs and his company I don't think you're the first or will be the last. Him and it are leaders in this field.

Hmmm....maybe better in the General Knife Discussion.

But with that said. Impressive work for your first knife. Seriously!

The butt does have some Tac influence in it, and I do see some Buster in the top of the blade's spine.

It's kinda my fault. I goaded him into posting it here because I also thought you'd all get a kick out of the "home made" Tank Buster.

Shant and I work together and I pretty much introduced him to Busse Knives and he got all excited when the Tank Buster came out. He talked about it almost every day, thinking of colour combinations. So when he made his own I told him he really ought to post it here.
 
Busses might be relatively expensive, but so is making a knife on your own!
How much do you have in tools? etc... you could have easily bought 2 or 3 Busses!

Either way, that knife you made is a BEAUTY, and I'm sure lots of folks would pay good money for a good looking knife like that!
 
Looks great. Sure looks better than my first knife.

I would not worry about people thinking it is a copy of any design. Looks all you there.
