Problem with Ganzo is, besides the thick grinds (in some models), the heavy weight due to the full steel liners. Someone handy with a carbide burr in a die grinder (or a CNC mill, much better) could skeletonize them removing the not so needed metal... and see if they can actually save a few grams. I was about to pull the trigger on a G717 2nd Generation (solid stop pin) but I am hesitant due to the weight. One of the reasons I like my spyderco Military so much is because despite being big, it is light in the pocket. so since I don't abuse my knives, light is right in my book.
I own a RAT2 and Tenacious. Out of those two, I go with the RAT2. Maybe if I had a RAT1 I would choose the Tenacious instead... Not sure.
