Just curious. . . .what do you consider a "budget sword ?"

firstly, sorry about the poor posting positioning as you can see i am still a newbie.
as for budget, around £200 (roughly $370)

Well, what kind of aesthetic do you like?

You have a few options in a variety of styles: Japanese, Filipino, Nepalese, European, etc.

Figure out at least a format that you find attractive, and we can help you from there :D

you can get cheap display nihontou for about...$120 for a set. keep in mind that thses are edgeless and arent all too strong so wont hold up to a beating. but in terms of display they look awesome. the hamon or temperline is very very regular and is an obvious sign to someone who studies nihontou that they are machine made blades with an etched hamon. but again, they look very nice as display swords.

May we assume, from your price limitation being in pounds, that you are located in the United Kingdom? If so, give thse following folks a try, they are British, they do have Weatern swords in your price range, and they have good reputations for the quality of their products:

Hi Guys
have dealt with both these guys, Paul Binns is a top guy, the Jelling Dragon could use some improvment tosay the least.
